Without stress management solutions in place many organisations in the UK suffer from high sickness absence levels, staff turnover, more work errors. Staff may be suffering from stress related illnesses both physical and mental such as anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

What is Work Related Stress?

Work-related stress is defined as a harmful reaction people have to undue pressures and demands place on them at work. Left ignored workplace stress  can result in many problems for both the organisation and the individual.

The most recent Labour Force Survey on stress related disorders in the UK  revealed that the main work activities attributed by respondents as causing their work-related stress, or making it worse, was work pressure, lack of managerial support and work-related violence and bullying.

Stress Management Solutions

At Sandra Swan Coaching I provide stress management solutions in the UK to help organisations tackle rising absences, de-motivated teams, the fall-out from re-structuring, or specific individuals who are facing a particularly stressful situation. More and more organisations are being pro-active and want to reduce the risk of potential absence due to stress.

The first step to improve stress management in the workplace is to be aware of the management standards areas as set out by the UK Health & Safety Executive  that represent a set of conditions that if present reflect a high level of health and wellbeing, and organisational performance.

My experience of tackling stress is expansive and where necessary I can bring in the services of reputable Associates in order to help you respond even more effectively to your organisation’s specific needs.
